KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
BREAK THE CYCLE
Health information is critical to their success.
Education helps break the cycle of poverty within a family, a community, and country. Feminine health and hygiene supplies are key to school success for girls. Equally important is the message that comes with every Desta Girl Kit
- You are created in God’s image.
- You are loved.
- You matter.

DESTA GIRL HIGHLIGHT!
Mebrat’s Journey of Leadership and Impact
Deeply committed to her education, and striving for excellence!
I first met Mebrat in 2015 when she was just 12 years old. Even at a young age, her exceptional leadership skills were evident, earning her the respect of her peers. She was deeply committed to her education, consistently striving for excellence while sharing the love of Jesus with those around her.
As Mebrat’s confidence and communication skills have grown, she has become my primary student assistant in the Southern Region. Not only does she co-lead Desta Girl classes alongside me, but she has also taken the initiative to travel independently to neighboring communities, empowering and equipping other young girls to remain in school.
Now a university student, Mebrat serves as a role model for countless young women. It is a privilege to have played a small part in her journey, and I have no doubt that her impact will continue to inspire many.
